the trashcan
Same trashcan. Two different weeks. Just realized this when I was digging through my “to blog” folder which is backlogged for days.
I’ve been covering prep football weekly for the last couple months and a few weeks ago I made a frame from practice at Manatee High School during a sudden rainstorm as players ducked for cover R2D2 style in this one trashcan that is always on the field. Fast forward to today and these guys were using the thing to do Superman drills – running backs leaping them to simulate a goal line play over defensive backs. I’m sure the thing has been thrown-up in, kicked, and God knows what else.
Most of my time is spent avoiding trash cans, exit signs, banners and the like in my photos – but for a couple weeks the trash can has won me back made some fun frames.
