preaching to the choir
Just got back from vacation (Colorado), and I was greeted with the obligatory town hall meeting on health care reform. Ours was light on the yelling, heavy on the listening, and not a punch thrown – can’t win them all.
I spent the better part of the meeting on the floor waiting for the spotlight to hit Representative Vern Buchanan at the right moment, as his almost preacher-esque shadow hit the high school auditorium stage as he paced back and forth.
Still would have preferred some sort of drama – oh well.
