Redlights and Redeyes

So it goes that when I get a travel piece on local restaurants for The New York Times in my backyard, the week is deluged with rain…oh well.  I had to make do with what I could during the stormy weather waiting it out in my car in hopes that vacationers would resurface as the skies cleared.  Luckily, Anna Maria Island is pretty much fish-in-a-barrel photographically and I was still able to get some frames to send up to the mothership.

For the record, the burger at Duffy’s Tavern is by far one of the best cheeseburgers I’ve ever eaten.  Amazingly good – especially with a Coke in a bottle.  That last frame was sitting in my belly after five shots.
