spring draining
Sorry for my delay in posting here, things have been a bit chaotic ’round here. Anyhoo, these are from my annual “Hey all we need is the starting pitcher” photo essay. I always try to make the most un-runnable images, well, because they’re never going to run and I enjoy making these rather than the standard pitcher-throwing-directly-into-the camera photo. To be honest, Spring Training can be extremely boring and we shoot a lot of it, but I try to use that to my advantage and wander the field to make photos that actually fill the balls and strikes and scratches and spits for me visually.
These are from two games yesterday and today: Tampa Bay Rays/Boston Red Sox in Port Charlotte and the Cincinnati Reds/Minnnesota Twins in Sarasota.
